About Robert
Roberts Wachs is the Lead Pastor at Newbreak Church. When he is isn't speaking at our Tierrasanta campus, he is visiting our other campuses with his wife Lisa in Scripps Ranch and Ocean Beach, encouraging their pastors and empowering their people. He's been at Newbreak Church for more than 20 years and is excited for the future, as we connect people with God through authentic relationships to serve communities.

Markus Witherspoon is the Campus Pastor at our Tierrasanta Campus. When he isn't speaking or leading worship, he is enjoying time with his wife Nicci, reading books, listening to podcasts, and cycling around San Diego. He's been at Newbreak for five years and is excited for his future at Newbreak, connecting people and communities!
Tierrasanta Leadership
One of the things that allows Newbreak Church to stand out is the idea of shared leadership. While Robert is the lead pastor of the church, Markus pastors and leads the Tierrasanta campus.
