JoAnn Johnson, Lead Pastor
JoAnn Johnson is the Lead Pastor at Newbreak Church. JoAnn and her husband, Eric, love San Diego and exploring all the great beaches with their two boys and dogs. Prior to serving at Newbreak she worked with the SoCal Network of the Assemblies of God providing leadership and training for hundreds of churches and pastors. She is excited for the future of Newbreak Church, as we continue to develop leaders who change their communities.

Markus Witherspoon is the Campus Pastor at our Tierrasanta Campus. When he isn't speaking, leading the amazing Tierrasanta Campus staff, or leading worship, he is enjoying time with his wife, Nicci, reading books, studying theology and leadership, listening to podcasts, running, and cycling around San Diego. He's been at Newbreak since 2016 and is excited for the future of Newbreak Church.
Jared Johnson
Scripps Ranch Campus Pastor
Jared Johnson is the Campus Pastor and main teaching pastor at Newbreak Church Scripps Ranch. Along with his wife, Julie, and three kids, they have a heart to connect with people and make them feel like family. He's been at Newbreak for over two decades years and on staff for more than a decade too. He loves getting to know people over a cup of coffee, is excited for our shared future, and believes that the best is yet to come at Newbreak!

Mike Quinn, Network Pastor
Mike Quinn is the Newbreak Network Pastor and founding Pastor of Newbreak Church, after planting and leading the church since 1986 with his wife Teresa. In this role, he speaks occasionally at the various campuses and coaches where needed. Mike is an integral part of the SoCal Church Planting Lead Team to further the efforts of Newbreak and the SoCal Network to plant more churches.
