Sermon Notes
I AM, Part 5 / The Way, Truth, Life /John 13:31-14:17
When life feels uncertainâwhen weâre anxious, confused, or lostâJesus doesnât just point us to a path, he says, âI am the way.â He claims to be the truth in a world full of opinions, and the life that nothing else can give. Christianity isnât about what works for youâitâs about whatâs true. And if Jesus is who he says he is, then following him doesnât just promise heaven later, it gives purpose, peace, and new life right now. Through Jesus, we move forward with hope.
About the Current Sermon Series
What if the God youâve heard about is more personal, more present, and more powerful than youâve experienced? In this 6-week series, weâll explore the âI AMâ statements found throughout Scriptureâwords God uses to reveal His character, His heart, and His invitation into relationship.
These statements arenât just descriptionsâtheyâre declarations of who God is for us. He is not distant or abstract. He is near, knowable, and actively at work in our lives.
Each week, weâll uncover a different aspect of His identity: the Bread that satisfies, the Light that reveals, the Shepherd who leads, the Resurrection who brings life, the Way who guides, and the Vine who sustains. Along the way, weâll wrestle with what it means to move beyond knowing about God to truly knowing Himâpersonally, deeply, and authentically.
This series is an invitation to trade shallow familiarity for real intimacy⊠to encounter the living God, not as a concept, but as a Person.
