Being a disciple is the life-long journey of becoming more like Jesus. The importance of discipleship cannot be overstated. The last thing Jesus told His disciples here on earth was to, “go and make disciples of all nations, …teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” The books and studies below will help your group discuss great topics related to discipleship and help you become more like Christ every day.

We believe that a strong Christ-centered marriage is a picture, a model, of Christ and the church. As Christ loves us enough to have given His life for us, so we too, learn to love our spouses enough to die to self, to put another’s needs and wants before our own. We might not have had a great earthly example of what being a good parent looks like. Thankfully, God is willing to give us the wisdom and discernment that we need to be great parents. The Old Testament is a collection of exciting history, beautiful poetry, applicable wisdom, mind-bending prophecy, and so much more. The 39 books of the Old Testament tell us the story of God’s love for His creation, mankind's rebellion, and what lengths He took to redeem the fallen world back to Himself. The below resources will aid your group’s understanding and study of the Old Testament.

The New Testament shows us how God’s redemptive plan that began in the Old Testament culminated in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The New Testament itself is broken up into the Gospels, the Acts of the Apostles, the Pauline epistles (letters), the general epistles, and ends with the Book of Revelation. Through studying the New Testament we learn about the birth of the Church, the sending of the Holy Spirit, and the instructions on how to love each other and live as Christ followers.
