Ephesians, Part 8 / Out With the Old, In With the New / Ephesians 4:17-32

What if spiritual maturity isn’t just about knowing more about Jesus, but actually becoming more like Him? In Ephesians 4:17–32, Paul invites us to take an honest look at the “old wardrobe” we may still be wearing: patterns like anger, bitterness, harsh words, and unforgiveness that no longer match who we are in Christ. But God doesn’t just call us to throw off the old; He invites us to put on the character of Jesus through truth, kindness, generosity, self-control, and forgiveness. This message will challenge us to ask: What old way of life is the Holy Spirit asking me to take off, and what new way of Christ is He inviting me to put on?

From Series: "Book of Ephesians"

God has always had a plan. The book of Ephesians reveals the incredible story of God’s plan to bring salvation to all people through Jesus Christ and unite them into one family. In this 13-week series, we’ll discover what it means to live with purpose as people who have been chosen, redeemed, and called by God. Along the way, we’ll explore how the Holy Spirit transforms our everyday relationships—with family, friends, the Church, and the world around us. Ephesians is an invitation to step into God’s greater story and live the kind of life we were created for.
