Most people think the Gospel is about becoming a better person, but Ephesians 2 tells a much deeper story. Paul reminds us that sin doesn’t just wound us, it leaves us spiritually dead and unable to save ourselves. Yet in the middle of humanity’s worst news come two of the most hope-filled words in Scripture: “But God.” This message is about the God who meets us with mercy, raises us to new life through Jesus, and transforms us into His masterpiece filled with purpose and grace.
