Marriage has a way of exposing us — our selfishness, our pride, the places we'd rather stay comfortable than grow. But it's also where grace shows up in the most ordinary moments: the apology, the small sacrifice, the choice to serve when you'd rather be served. Your story matters here. The couple who learned to trade mutual selfishness for mutual submission, the spouse who discovered what sacrificial love really costs, the person who's still learning — those stories give someone else hope. You don't need a perfect marriage to share what God is doing in yours right now.
Take Your Next Step
Paul calls spouses to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ — and that starts with small, intentional rhythms, not grand gestures. So this week, try the Weekly Marriage Huddle. Ask your spouse three questions: How did you feel most loved by me last week, and how could I love you better this week? What's one burden or goal you're carrying, and how can I best support you? And what's one specific thing I can pray for you every day this week? Spiritual growth in marriage isn't about doing it perfectly — it's about turning toward each other, and toward Jesus, on purpose.

Marriage was never meant to be lived in isolation — and neither was faith. The couples who go the distance are almost always surrounded by people cheering them on and walking alongside them.
